About Us/ Process

Each project we do is unique but will generally follow a certain process:

1)  We will come to your house for a free estimate.  At that time we can get a sense for what you want, explain to you your options and take the measurements necessary to give you a quote.

2)  If our cost is in your budget, we will put together a sample on the back of one of your doors.  it is helpful if you have a color or look you can identify for us.

3)  Once you find a sample acceptable, we will sign a contract for the project and schedule a start date.

4)  Work starts.  We will collect your doors and work on them at our shop.  The cabinet boxes will be finished on-site.  All the necessary prep-work will be done right away.

5)  Quality check.  We will walk through the job with you, addressing any issues you may have with the work.  Once everything is  as it should be, we clean up and check out!

*** During the time that we are working in your home, your kitchen will remain accessible but somewhat minimized.  We set up dust barriers, use a vacuum sander and clean daily, but as with all construction projects, there will be some dust.  The odor/fumes are mild and will not require you to relocate during the process.  Our finishes contain no/ low VOCs and no formaldehyde.
